Meteora in Hannover

Hello, this rating applies to the delivery service: The food (giroflaki, calamares and various starters) was delicious, the delivery was super fast (about 25 minutes) and the quality was extraordinarily good. The food was warm and of high quality, as one is used to. The fries were crispy, the fried calamares not mushy or anything, but also crispy. Proof that you don't have to go without good Greek cuisine during the lockdown. We will definitely be happy to order again! With best regards Frederik

Very friendly restaurant with tasty and delicious food

Not a fan of Greek food but this place convinced me too. From a crunchy salad bar to aromatic meat dishes to fresh fish and seafood, you will find everything your heart desires in very good quality. The service is good, the ouzu is included and the toilet has a little surprise in store.

We tried the delivery service and loved it. Despite the somewhat longer route, the food was warm and everyone enjoyed it. You can tell that an effort is made, gladly again!

Very very very nice and pleasant atmosphere, nice and kind staff. The kitchen was just class, the lamb of which I ordered just melted in my mouth, the knife and fork were not even needed, the soft one broke even under the spoon. Definitely five stars, and I advise all Russians in Hannover / Germany to visit.

The food is celebrated there - top quality, I've rarely eaten SO GOOD! Chic interior, very creative, ingenious disco toilet! Great service, always friendly and courteous! In my opinion it deserves more than 5 stars!

Reservation strongly recommended. Very well visited Greek. My current favorite Greek. Very good service. I have rarely seen such well-functioning processes in a restaurant. Food is fantastic. The fries alone are world class. I don't know of any place where you can get such crispy fries. Prices are fair. And plus points for the men's toilet:

We wanted to go out to eat there spontaneously on Sundays with my family. We would be turned away unfriendly at the door, without a reservation there is no place here! It is also much more friendly!

Even if I haven't been to everyone yet, this should be the best Greek in town. Here you get good service and incredibly delicious Greek food from start to finish. You also have to experience the toilets :-)

An almost inconspicuous restaurant from the outside surprises with the first impression inside. Lovingly furnished with many details, there is a lot to see and marvel at. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The food is fresh and very tasty. Unfortunately my eyes and my curiosity were bigger than my stomach, but the leftovers were packed. The main course had taken a little longer and to compensate we got a wonderful dessert ... definitely one (if not) the best Greek in town. Insider tip: the ladies' room ;-)

I've known the restaurant for over 30 years, that says it all. I no longer live in Hanover, but whenever I go back to my old homeland, a visit is planned here. The restaurant is very stylish and tastefully decorated, I really like the small niches. Simply the best Greek I know, everything is finely seasoned and perfectly cooked to the point. A lot in organic quality, which is reflected in the price, but I am very happy to pay a little more for high-quality products. And it's also worth it, vegetables, salad, everything fresh and crisp, the meat in excellent quality. Even now in Corona times, it's fun to eat out here. The side salad is now served at the table, which I personally find very good, as I am not that enthusiastic about the buffet. A very clear thumbs up from me

It is also worthwhile not to order a main course and to take several starters instead. The prices are slightly higher, but the quality is almost cheap again.

This is by far my favourite Greek restaurant in Germany. If you are around Hannover you should really visit. Aside from the standard greek main dish options you can instead opt to just pick 5-6 mezzah / starters and that way try many dishes of the Greek cuisine. Greek schnapps and bread and olive oil (with oregano cut into it live in front of you from a fresh plant) is complimentary and gets naturally brought to your table. Assure to order the Greek Mooka (a mini espresso to opt sweet medium or no sugar with a fresh big biscuit) as it gets prepared fresh at your table and it is quite a show! The interior is absolutely instagrammable they have super cool designed walls. Assure to go to the bathroom as they have disco lights and super cool decor there also. The staff is incredibly friendly and always in a good mood. Whenever we are in Germany we try to pop by that super cool Greek restaurant. If you come by car you might need 10 extra minutes to find parking in the area (we usually park the first street to the right after the restaurant) but it is absolutely worth it ! The restaurant only takes reservations by telephone so assure to call them!

At Meteora in Hanover you feel like you are in Greece. The food is delicious and the price-performance ratio is right. The service is dedicated and friendly. Thank you for the great afternoon! We would love to come back again!

Perfect taste, brilliant management, haven't had any better in a greek restaurant even in Athens, what a tasteful olive oil they use, and they brought it with a dark sauce in plate which I forgot to ask what that was but absolutely brilliant.

We had the lamb chops and a baked lamb dish and it was the best tasting most tender lamb I’ve had in Germany! Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Nice atmosphere friendly service and really good food.

definitely pretty good, tried the fried zucchini and the salmon. Nice dessert the hot soufflé, though it was a bit too much cooked but very tasty. Portions are big!

First impression wasn't so good as we had to wait for our table (even though we had reservation) and only 1 waitress spoke English. But as we entered the restauran and saw interior and food arrived, my opinion changed. We ordered different started and we were really happy with all the different dips, breads, ... Main dish was also prepared very well. Prices are fair.

The waiters are really nice. I had the avocado soup and cheese filled burgers, very good. Rations are generous.
